这门课 does not transfer but will meet the AA/AS requirement.

这门课 is designed to provide students with preparatory skills for Introduction to Statistics (数学 18) or Liberal Arts 数学 (数学 11) because they intend to major in a Liberal Arts field of study.  这门课 covers descriptive statistics such as mean, median, mode and standard deviation, as well as, normal distribution, probability and linear and exponential modeling.

这门课 builds on the concepts and skills learned in Beginning Algebra. 这门课 is designed to provide students with intermediate level Algebra skills because they desire to major in Science, Technology, Engineering & 数学(STEM). 这门课 prepares students to take College Algebra (数学 26) and Trigonometry (数学 20).  这门课 covers fundamental algebraic concepts and operations.
